LUZ, CLARÃO, FULGOR – Augúrios para um Enquadramento Não Hierárquico e Venturoso (LIGHT, BRIGHTNESS, SPLENDOUR – Omens for a Non-Hierarchical and Prosperous Framework) is inspired by the various community experiences of anarchist António Gonçalves Correia. Transforming itself into different iterations, this expanded film anticipates a dazzling de-hierarchisation of the act of seeing, while attempting to offer a pedagogy of the earth and conviviality. ‘By stubbornly looking at the ruins of a commune, we seek omens.’

Filmmaker, researcher and film curator for Cinema Fulgor. She is interested in the politics intrinsic to filmmaking practices and cinema as a collective and expanded experience. She has received grants from the Fundação Gulbenkian/FLAD and CalArts School (California). Her 16mm films have been screened at numerous festivals, film libraries and independent cinemas.
